College Council
Redeemer Lutheran College is owned and operated by the Lutheran Church of Australia Queensland District. The Church appoints, and delegates local governance responsibility to the Redeemer Lutheran College Council. This body is responsible for the appointment of the Principal, broad policy setting, the strategic vision, master plan, building programs, financial and risk management, and the ethos and well-being of the College.
There are up to ten members with backgrounds in areas including education, finance, theology, law and business drawn from the Lutheran Church. They meet with the management team of the college on a monthly basis. They also have a number of sub committees which meet regularly.
The Council ensures that the College operates in accordance with the confessions and practice of the Lutheran Church of Australia.
