As part of Year 1 genre writing this term, students have become well versed in fairytale literature and have discovered how their imaginations can assist with changing elements to create a new ending.
On Thursday 30 May, our Year 1 students enjoyed a special "VIP & Me" event, where they invited a very important person to join them for a cosy reading session!
The event featured parents and children reading together on blankets, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere. To add to the experience, biscuits were provided for a delightful snack. This initiative aimed to foster a love of reading and strengthen the bond between students and their parents.
